If yes, read on!The Microsoft Business Applications Group is looking for a top-notch, experienced, hands-on Business Analyst with PowerBI reporting and DAX coding skills. Someone who is driven, self-directed, and focused on designing and maintaining business critical reports. The candidate should be able to apply a breadth of tools, data sources and analytical techniques that can help us answer a wide range of business critical questions within the Dynamics 365 business.Our team was established to provide state-of-the-art customer, partner & user analytics to drive decisions, product usage and revenues. Success hinges on enabling everyone in the organization to make informed decisions that drive outcomes and in application of data science to automate data-driven actions that drive usage & revenue growth including personalized recommendations, marketing automation & lead scoring. We have a lot of success with products like Power BI and now are expanding our charter to Dynamics 365.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing quality and timely reports
  • Assist in the day-to-day maintenance/growth of reporting around the business
  • Taking complex problems and the associated data and giving the answers in a concise form to assist the team in making key business decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
  • Manage multiple files, requests and deadlines

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

  • 5+years of relevant work experience in business reporting and data analytics
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools and technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert level knowledge of SQL and MYSQL
  • Expert level in PowerBI and DAX programming
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team to traverse tougher analytical questions.
  • Data hacking skills and knowledge of analytical programming languages like R or Python.
  • Possesses ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels including various levels of management, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Enjoy discovering and solving problems; proactively seeking clarification of requirements and direction; being a self-starter who takes responsibility when required.
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal, visual and written communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate complex findings in a simple manner.
  • Willingness to learn, share, and improve.
